Note: Is this a good move for Microsoft?!? Who exactly are they appealing to by utilizing Seinfeld?

Note: FTP: Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (R) has described Tropical Storm Fay as a “serious, catastrophic flooding event,” as it dumps “historic levels of rain with totals in excess of 20 inches already” in Brevard County. Fay is tracking over the entire state of Florida, devastating crops and causing hundreds of millions of dollars of damage.~~~~~~~~~Um, how many wakeup calls do we need? Anyone with a monsoon, tsunami, tornado, flood, etc. out there to further convince?

Note: Once Upon a Time in the West is everything you’ve heard it was and more. I almost don’t want to watch another Western because I’m sure all the rest will pale in comparison.

More Newspapers Dropping AP Over Rates (E&P)
Note: At least four more daily papers are planning to drop the Associated Press in the wake of new rates being announced, including the Spokesman-Review of Spokane, Wash, which is trying to cut ties without the required two-year notice. "By the end of this week, we will have nailed down all of the things we have to do to replace AP," said Steve Smith, Spokesman-Review editor.

The ad is called The One, and it is an attack on Obama's celebrity, but the secondary message appears to be about his candidacy as the Anti-Christ.

Note: Cabin crew aboard the the ill-fated Spanair flight which crashed on take-off at Madrid airport yesterday refused to let a passenger off despite earlier technical problems with the aircraft, the man's family said today. The chilling accusation came to light as the budget airline defended its decision to clear the MD-82 jet for take-off despite aborting an earlier attempt because a gauge showed an overheating air-intake valve. The device was switched off and the flight went ahead
